About the Author
Elaine Nicpon Marieb was a human anatomist. She was the author of many textbooks, including Essentials of Human Anatomy & Physiology Lab Manual and Essentials of Human Anatomy & Physiology. But her most notable textbook is Human Anatomy & Physiology. Elaine Marieb started her teaching career for the very first time at Springfield College. Then, she taught in Holyoke Community College, which was previously known as Holyoke Junior College from 1969.
In 1993, Marieb retired from her teaching career to devote herself to writing. She had authored a few journal articles before beginning to write her own textbooks. On the other hand, Dr. Katja Hoehn is an instructor in the Department of Chemical and Biological Sciences at Mount Royal College, Canada. Just like Marieb, Hoehn also started her career in teaching.
